Grossinger’s Resort: The Catskills Giant That Inspired Dirty Dancing
A farmhouse that took in boarders in the 1910s grew into a 35-building Catskills resort with its own airstrip and post office. It closed in 1986, was torn down in 2018, and its land has now been sold for another resort.
